- ART & ACTIVISM Come Unity was built by dreamers and free thinkers alike in order to lend a hand to those who felt the need for positive change in their community. Made up of a collective of individuals that seamlessly fit the saying of “For The People, By The People,” and one that truly exemplifies that mantra. Come Unity is a registered not for profit organization established in 2009, looking to build strong foundations with other like-minded thinkers, as well as Toronto’s ever growing arts community. In order to do this, Come Unity wishes to source various collaborative opportunities by helping to fund, create and promote various educational workshops, vendors markets, performances and mutual efforts within and around the community. Think of Come Unity as the foundation, the tree looking to support various branches, branches representing but not limited to, poetry, art, awareness and activism. Our mission is one directed toward positive change, both on an individual and community wide basis. By providing essential and artistic resources to its community members, our focus on instilling unity, confidence and hope can be achieved by all those involved.
